Burnley:

In recent years, most teams who have been relegated from the Premier League have gone down due to their lack of goals or proven goalscorer. Two years ago, Burnley were relegated with their top goalscorer scoring only 4 goals. If they want to survive this year they desperately need to sign a proven Premier League goalscorer. In the current market signing any good striker is difficult on its own, finding a Premier League quality striker is even harder. However, I have found a striker who would fit in perfectly at Burnley: Taiwo Awoniyi. The 6’0 Nigerian born striker would fit in great in Scott Parker’s system, as he has the ability to hold up the ball and bring others into play but also has the IQ and speed to run into the channels. Having dropped down the pecking order last season, Awoniyi needs a fresh start to get his career back on track. He has proved that he is a Premier League quality striker, by scoring 10 goals in 17 starts in his inaugural season at Forest. Maybe a season on loan at Burnley would not only help him get his form and confidence back but also help Burnley stay in the Premier League.
Crystal Palace:

Qualifying for Europe last season is a massive accomplishment for a club like Palace. However, playing in a European competition brings many complications with it. The main one being fixture congestion. As they’re going to play more games, their players will get more fatigued. Therefore, Palace need to invest into strengthening their squad depth. One position which severely needs depth is the Left Wing Back position. At the moment, Mitchell is the only player who could play in this role, therefore Palace need to find a back-up player who could fill in if Mitchell gets injured or is fatigued. Additionally, although Mitchell is very strong on the defensive end, he struggles in the attacking half. Thus, Palace need to look into signing an attacking minded Left Wing back, one just like Nathaniel Brown from Frankfurt. At only 21 years of age, the German LWB would be great cover for Mitchell, while also giving Oliver Glasner tactical flexibility if he wants to have a more offensive approach. Already used to playing in a back 5 formation, Brown wouldn’t need to adapt to a new role. His physical attributes are also remarkable for a player his age, and as he only broke out last year he wouldn’t cost an arm and a leg. By signing him this summer Crystal Palace would get him for much cheaper than in a year’s time and get ahead of teams who will most likely battle to get his signature next summer.
Everton:

Under David Moyes, Everton have looked a much more complete team. There seemed to be more fluidity in moving the ball from the defense to the offense, while also maintaining their very strong defensive record. Next season, though, Everton move into their stadium, which brings much more pressure for them to perform at a higher level. Therefore, they need to insure they get their business right this summer. Everton’s well known financial distress means they need to be astute with their signings. Looking at their squad and recent transfer rumors, it is evident Everton need to sign a Right Back. With Coleman having already left, and Patterson not strong enough yet to be a starter in the Premier League, Everton need to sing a Right Back who could start right now. At the end of last season, O’Brien filled in at Right Back, however, his natural position is at Center-Back. He played very well there, but Everton still should look at a natural Right Back. Having been linked to Kenny Tete, Everton seems to be looking for a defensively sound right back, with strong interception and tackling numbers. Unfortunately, Tete decided to stay at Fulham, however, this means Everton could go, in my opinion, for a better fit, in James Justin from Leicester. Justin has proved for many years that he is Premier League quality. He is very strong defensively, but also has the ability to help in the offensive end. He works very hard for his team, and with Leicester dropping down to the Championship, Justin would jump at the opportunity to play in Prem next season.
