Arsenal:

Much speculation during this transfer window surrounding Arsenal F.C. has been on their search for a striker. However, a new Left Winger is equally or even more important. At the moment, Martinelli is holding down that position, but his lack of creativity and cutting edge in the final third has hindered Arsenal’s final product from the left hand side. In Arteta’s system the left winger needs to be right footed, fast, can press, a silky dribbler, affordable and wouldn’t be hurt to sit on the bench at times. After a lot of research, I believe the 24 year old Ivory Coast winger, Simon Adingra would be perfect in Arteta’s system. He would only cost about $25-$30 million and already has Premier League experience.

Bournemouth:

With a large amount of outgoings already this transfer window, Bournemouth need to spend wisely in order to fill the numerous gaps from the players who left. Having already signed Truffert at LB to replace Kerkez, Bournemouth, next, need to sign a Center-back, with Huijsen having signed at Real Madrid and Zabarnyi heavily linked with PSG. Bournemouth already have a very adept left footed center-back in Marco Senesi, so they need to be looking for a right footed center back. This center back needs to be good in the air, comfortable with the ball at his feet, and has the ability to accurately make long balls. The perfect player would be Wilfried Singo from Monaco. He aligns with Bournemouth’s transfer policy to sign young players with huge upside and is versatile enough to fill in at right back aswell.

Aston Villa:

Villa’s team is already very healthy. They have a plethora of options up front and in the midfield, two very good left backs, and a very strong center back pairing. However, a position which has been a problem for Villa over the years has been at right back. For a long time, Konsa filled in there but has now been pushed back to his natural center back position. Cash has since stepped him but his defensive frailties have been continuously exposed. In January, they signed Garcia but after a strong start he has also been exposed defensively. Therefore, Villa need to seriously search for a right back in order to push for Europe next season. In Emery’s system, the wing backs need to have the ability to bomb up and down the field, be good on the ball, have great crossing ability from deep and on the end-line, adept in one v one situations both defensively and offensively, and have great interception and clearance numbers. One player who fits all of these requirements is Juan Foyth from Villareal. Having already played at Spurs in the past and under Emery at Villareal from 2020-2022, Foyth’s physical ability combined with his technical prowess would be perfect at Villa.
